We are looking forward to providing all sorts of cycle training for all sorts of individuals, groups and communities throughout Inverclyde during 2019 !!
Our Team of experienced Instructors, under the direction of our Lead Instructor Stephen, are available to deliver all types of cycle instruction, from 1-to-1 to group lessons. Please contact us via the phone, website or Facebook if you would like to book some tuition in any of the following.
Beginners Lessons –
any age or ability we can get you going
Returners – for anyone who used to be able to cycle and who would just like some help getting back onto the saddle with confidence
Essential Cycling Skills – for those looking to become more proficient on their bike, perhaps to go a little further or practice on some safer roads
Electric Bike Tuition – with more than half the bikes now sold in Europe being electrically assisted, we can get you confident on this new way of cycling
The above can be in Groups or on a 1-to-1 basis.
We also hope to deliver some group cycling activities such as:
Group Led Rides –For those interested in “Social Cycling" who would benefit from group company and some “on the move" tuition and support. These last about 3 hours and have been a great way to rekindle the interest of all ages and ability and of course we do stop for a natter and a quick snack.
Safari Trips : Aimed at cyclists who have an increasing level cycling ability who are keen to start cycling on longer routes nearby but perhaps out with the Inverclyde area. Each group will be tailored to over all ability to ensure a suitable route and some of these trips have already seen cyclists with Electric Bikes go that little bit further !!
And remember we can even give you a bike and helmet so there really is NO excuse!
And finally, if you need some help to get the old ( and new bike) out the hut, we can offer Safety Checks for advice on how to get the wheels turning again safely.
We will help anyone get themselves and their families out on 2 wheels.
What type of Bikes The cycles used are Town Bikes which are very easy to cycle although people may rather use their own
Where are we The sessions usually start and ended at St Ninian’s Church Car Park, St John’s Road Gourock, which affords easy access to the National Cycle route to head west towards Lunderston Bay or east towards the Battery Park and the Esplanade in Greenock. However we can arrange to hold sessions from any community locations.
Please contact us via the phone, website or Facebook if you would like to book some lessons.
